I am engaged in some of the most critical environmental and human rights issues confronting the developing world. Work I have pursued for several decades. Specializing in the Southeast Asian region, I report on the struggles of indigenous and local people to protect their forests and farmlands in the face of resource exploitation.
A multimedia journalist, photographer, media-trainer and development communications practitioner, I have a post-graduate academic background in environment and development. Working independently I freelance for media outlets and charities. My photographic work is represented by the Polaris Images agency in New York.
Please do get in touch through the contact page or write a comment if you would like to follow-up with me about anything on my site such as using material, or if you would like to discuss collaboration. For non-profit organisations I offer reductions for my communications skills and use of my photos and articles, so do get in touch to discuss your needs.
